There is a one dollar authorization charge to make sure a valid credit card number was provided.

The charge will be cleared from your credit card within 2-3 business days.

Sure you can park and pay quicker and easier:

  1. Sign In to your personal account using your phone number.
  2. Check your default Vehicle
  3. Check your default City
  4. Check your default Zone# in that city
  5. Confirm
  6. Done!

From now on, it will be even easier to start a parking sessions.

Start parking session: send a text message with the word START to the same number from which you have received the activation confirmation text message

Stop a parking session: sent a text message with the words STOP PANGO to the same number from which you have received the activation confirmation text message

Tip! If you have parked with Pango and received a text message from us, you may just reply to us with these words.

Yes, If you stay past the end of the metered hours Pango will stop you Pango session when the metered hours end, or it will not even let you pay past the posted meter hours (unlike most meters)
It is different in every City; but, it will always be clearly displayed before you are charged.   In most cities it is $0.25
Pango solves that problem easily, no more tickets with Pango!  The PEO (Parking Enforcement Officer) probably mistyped your license plate number.  Verify that the license plate number on the violation ticket is your license plate number. If not, you should ask the city administration to waive your ticket.
You don’t need to re-register.

You may continue using your current account since the Pango system is a license plate based system.

3. Stop parking session, when you are ready to leave, using one of the following options:

  • Open the Pango Smartphone APP and tap the “Stop Parking” button.

Park Off-Streen in a Gated Lot/Garage

  1. Your smartphone, enabled by the Pango pay-by-phone application, functions as a remote control. Use it to open the gate upon entering and exiting the garage.
  2. Opening the gate to enter the garage activates payment.
  3. Opening the gate to exit the garage ends your parking session.
Parking time limits vary from location to location.

To ensure you do not go past the designated time limit, be sure to look for signs near where you’ve parked indicating that area’s time limit.

Pango will automatically end your parking session when the designated local time limit has elapsed.

If you would like to receive a reminder before each parking session expires, consider signing up for the Pango Personal Reminder service.

Pango Save is an opt-in monthly subscription service that can help you avoid expensive parking tickets by warning you when your parking time is about to expire, and if you drive away from a space while you still have an active parking session.

While enrolled to the service, you receive an automatic text message alert 15 minutes before your parking time expires.

If you need more time, there is no need to return to your vehicle (APPLIES ONLY in cities that – allow extensions to parking time).

You can simply use your mobile phone to extend parking time by one of the following options:

Text (Via any mobile phone): when you get a reminder text notifying you that your time is about to expire, just text back EXTEND.

Call (Via any mobile phone): Dial toll free 1 (877) myPango [ 1 (877) 697-2646 ] and when prompted, choose option 2 to extend parking.

App (Via Smartphone): Stop your parking session and start a new parking session.

Unlimited reminders cost just $2.99/month per vehicle per month.

 

How can I enroll into Pango Save?

In the App Go to Menu, Settings, Pango Save, click on the Pango Save button then push the “save” button at the bottom of the screen.

How much does it cost?

The service is free of charge for the initial 30 days from Sign Up, then you get unlimited reminders for just $2.99/month.

 

How Do I Un-Enroll from Pango Save?

To un-enroll, simply open the app, go to Menu, Settings, Pango Save and click on the Pango Save button to deselect it. Be sure to push the “Save” button at the bottom of the screen. Once you’ve pressed save, you will no longer receive the benefits of the feature.

It’s important to note that Pango Save can only be turned on/off via the app. No Pango employee or representative can activate or deactivate the Pango Save service. Pango employees can only turn off auto-renew.

No. If you initiate parking from one of the cell phones associated with your Pango Pay-by-Phone account, you do not need to provide your PIN code. The system will automatically recognize you based on the phone number you are calling from. However, if you initiate parking using a phone that is not registered to your account, you will need to enter your vehicle’s license plate number and your PIN code to verify your identity.
When you pay through Pango, your license plate number is registered in our secure database as having paid for the appropriate amount of time in that zone number. When the parking enforcement official enters your license plate number, he or she receives a notification that you have paid.

Paypal & Venmo are offered as an alternative to traditional credit card payments when funding the Pango Wallet. Paypal & Venmo are currently only offered through the Pango APP.

Paypal

To pay for parking using Paypal you will need to fund the Pango wallet using your Paypal account. To link your Paypal account, go to “Payment Methods” in the APP menu and select the wallet.

From the wallet menu please select Paypal as your “Current Funding Source”. You will be directed to the Paypal login screen to authorize wallet Top-Ups from your Paypal Account.

Venmo

To pay for parking using Venmo you will need to fund the Pango Wallet using your Venmo account. To link your Venmo account, go to “Payment Methods” in the APP menu and select the wallet.

From the wallet menu please select Venmo as your “Current Funding Source”. You will need to have the Venmo application installed on your mobile device to add Venmo as a funding source.
