Pango launched its on-street parking solution in the United States, which gives drivers an easier and smarter way to park. With the on-street parking service, drivers can pay for parking through their cell phone, a landline or the Pango smart phone application. No longer do drivers need to be hassled with parking meters and pay & display machines – Pango simplifies your parking experience, saving time and money in the process.
Drivers can start or end a parking session remotely through their mobile device. If a driver wants to add more time, they can do so without going to the location their vehicle is parked. Additionally, drivers can end a parking session at any time and not waste unused parking time. By simply entering a vehicle’s license plate, parking enforcement officers will know if a vehicle has paid through Pango.
Registered users can customize their system and keep track of parking history and invoices through www.myPango.com. The service is free to register for and there are no surcharges; just the parking time you pay for. Users can pre-pay or pay through credit or debit.
The company also offers “Pango Personal Reminder,” a service that sends a text message or automated phone call 15 minutes before your parking time expires. For a small fee of $1.99/month, subscribers receive the alerts that help them avoid parking tickets and unnecessary trips to their parking spot.
